Cinnamon Apple Cake
Ingredients
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 medium apples, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round or square baking pan.
2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, dark brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
3. Add Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until well combined.
4. Combine and Fold in Apples: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently fold in the chopped apples.
5. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Cool and Serve: Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
