Cheesy Ground Beef & Bacon Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 medium onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cream of cheddar soup
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
2 cups cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or penne)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon paprika (for a little kick, optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
3. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Stir in the cream of mushroom (or cheddar) soup and sour cream. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika if using. Mix until well combined.
5. Fold in 1 cup of shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and cooked pasta, mixing until everything is evenly coated.
6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
