Philly Cheesesteak 😋 – Here’s a taste you’ll love!
Ingredients
8 ounces ribeye steak, thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper, divided
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
1/2 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 hoagie rolls
4 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
1. Season and Sear the Steak: Season the ribeye slices with half of the salt and pepper. In a hot skillet, add the canola oil and sear the steak quickly until browned, about 1-2 minutes. Remove the steak from the pan.
2. Sauté the Veggies: Add the butter, onions, and bell peppers to the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes until softened, then add Worcestershire sauce and remaining salt and pepper.
3. Assemble the Cheesesteaks: Place the steak back in the skillet with the veggies, mix, and divide between the hoagie rolls. Top each with 2 slices of provolone cheese. Cover the skillet with a lid and let the cheese melt.
4. Serve: Serve your Philly cheesesteak hot, and enjoy
